Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) assists scholarly research by obtaining library materials unavailable in the Duke Library system. ILL locates needed materials in other libraries, borrows books and microforms and obtains photocopied material on behalf of eligible current Duke faculty, staff and students.

Requests are made exclusively through a secure web form. In order to login the request form, you will need your DukeID, which should be found on the back of your DukeCard.

If the item is available from another library within the Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN), that is, at UNC, NCSU, or NCCU, in most cases it will be delivered in two working days. Otherwise, the materials you have requested will be supplied within 5-10 working days.

If you have any problems or questions about Interlibrary Loan, please contact the Perkins InterLibrary Loan department at 660-5890.
